The March 2024 issue of the Dublin Economic Monitor was launched on March 27th, with the event centred around the theme of smart tourism.
Below is a video of the launch which took place in Grant Thornton’s offices in Dublin. Proceedings were opened by Lord Mayor Daithí de Róiste, followed by Grant Thornton’s Chief Economist Andrew Webb.
Owen Laverty mediated a panel discussion on smart and sustainable tourism composed of Megan Best (CEO, Native Events), Eoghan O’Mara Walsh (CEO, ITIC), Liz Halpin (Head of Dublin, Fáilte Ireland), and Barry Rogers (Head of Tourism Unit, Dublin City Culture Company).
The event was closed by the Chief Executive of Dublin City Council, Richard Shakespeare.
